Brothers and Twins {Lafayette Indiana Newborn Photographer}

I had the honor of photographing these precious six week old twins. I was nervous and thought it would be hard, but wow these little guys were awesome! They didn't cry at all during the session which is rare for my newborn sessions - I'm so in love.:-) You can see these two little boys are going to have a tight bond and they are so blessed to be born into such a wonderful and loving family.

:::HOME for the holidays:::

I LOVE to decorate for the holidays and this year I just couldn't wait any longer to start transforming my home. I usually wait until Thanksgiving, but I just had to bust open the joy a little sooner. I only have the trees up - there's still much to do, but here's a sneak peek. :-)

I do have many reasons (excuses) for my madness in decorating this early:

:::The sparkly lights help to keep me motivated to accomplish other things.
:::The in laws and family are coming to our house this year for celebrations.
:::We didn't have a house of our own to decorate last year so I'm making up for it in turning my home now into a sparkly winter wonderland.
:::Since college when I was in PMO we began to rehearse Christmas music in October, every year I get the itch to start celebrating the season earlier than most.
This is the tree in the living room. We have had this tree for our entire marriage and my husband had it for a few years before we married so it is at least 12 years old. I still think it's holding up well. I filled it with over 800 sparkling lights ;-)
This is the tree in the office. We got this after Christmas during the sales last year because we really wanted a tree with white snow. I am in love! I wanted to use non traditional colors and I love the combination of teal (blue/green) with rust.
And this final tree is in my son's room. He has a western/Lone Ranger theme going on in his room so we tied the idea in with the tree with using the lasso rope. My son decorated the rest all by himself! So here's to a wonderful beginning to the holiday season! Next week we will stuff ourselves with my mom's famous Thanksgiving dinner and then the Christmas season celebrations begin. I wish all of you a blessed holiday filled with family, love and joy!

Maybe I'm biased because these little ones are part of my family, but they are so adorable! This session was supposed to be to photograph 12 day old Mr. "M", but since the little stinker wasn't cooperating we made it into a multiple session. I love these sweet children!

This is my precious God daughter - she is such a jewel!

This is little Miss "J" - 19 months old and listened to all my direction and then added some of her own. LOVE IT! She climbed into this basket all by herself - it just begged to be photographed :)And introducing...Mr. "M" - all boy! He was awake for most of the session. He is going to be one strong boy - look at the size of his hands!
His talented Momma made the cute little blue and brown hat in this photo.

This little girl simply melts my heart. I can't express enough to mom and dad how special they have made me feel by including me in this time of their lives. Special "K" {Lafayette Indiana Child and Baby Photographer}

This little girl is such a doll baby - really - doesn't she look like a real life doll! She has the most precious dimples, but on this day she only wanted to show me her serious side. Thank you mom and dad for trusting me to capture your precious angel through photographs! I am so happy for you and it is so wonderful to see what great and loving parents you are to K - she is one very lucky little girl.
This next one totally cracks me up - I think she's saying "lady, when are you going to get that camera out of my face?" lol
